Innovation Pavilion

 

ASM International, India Chapter has been championing the cause of knowledge of Materials in various forums and through numerous ways. The biennial mega materials show MET + HTS, being one of them. The Materials show is an ideal platform with participation from Industry, Academia and Research Institutes.

Realizing the need to spread awareness about materials among the budding engineers and entrepreneurs, the India Chapter has created a Innovation Pavilion 

as a part of the larger exhibition. This section is meant exclusively for engineering college students and Start Ups to showcase their innovative projects, underlining the important role played by materials and processes in these. The projects displayed could be in the form of working models or graphics and charts. Important points to be noted here would be applicability to industry and availability of product at optimum cost.

Participation at the Innovation pavilion, will help young engineers in  :

·         Providing direct exposure to industry through visitors arriving at the exhibition

·         Be a rewarding experience if the product is worthy of market launch by industry

·        Competitive nature of the exhibition, will also help student groups   in improving presentation skills, and learning from their peers

·        Besides,they get a chance to rub shoulders with established industry products

Best three projects selected by an expert panel from industry and academia would be rewarded by cash prizes to be announced later.
